THE RATE OF UTILITY TAXES FOR ELECTRICAL, COAXIAL TELEVISION
CABLE TELEVISION, WATER, SEWER, STORMWATER AND GARBAGE
SERVICES AS SET FORTH IN ARLINGTON ORDINANCE 2011-032 AND
REPEALI-NG THE SUNSET CLAUSE IN SAID ORDINANCE
WHEREAS, the City of Arlington, Washington has the authority to enact laws to
tax certain activities occurring within the City; and

WHEREAS, said ordinance contained a sunset provision, requiring the City
Council to consider and to either extend or amend said ordinance prior to its sunset in
maintain the electrical, coaxial television cable, water, sewer, stormwater and garbage
services utility tax rates as set forth in Ordinance 2011-032 for the purpose of ensuring
the ability to continue a reasonable level of services to the public;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Arlington do hereby ordain
as follows:
Section -I., Section 4 of Arlington Ordinance 2011-032, adopted by the City
on December 19, 2011 shall be and hereby is repealed.
,Section 2. The Council reaffirms and readopts the tax rates set forth in
Ordinance 2011-032.
