AN ORDINANCE CORRECTING A TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR IN ORDINANCE
2012-003, PROVIDING FOR THE ANNEXATION TO THE
CITY OF ARLINGTON OF CERTAIN
UNINCORPORATED RIGHT OF WAY SITUATED WITHIN
SNOHOMISH COUNTY
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Arlington, Washington, had requested that
certain right -of way be annexed, which request was agreed to by Snohomish County; and
WHEREAS, the City previously adopted ordinance 2012-003, which effectuated the
annexation but as a result of a typographical error erroneously repealed ordinance 2011-010
instead of ordinance 2011-009; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to correct the error caused by the typographical errors;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Arlington does hereby ordain as
follows:
Section 1. Section 2 of City of Arlington Ordinance 2012-003 shall be and hereby is
amended to read as follows:
Section 2. City of Arlington Ordinance 2011-04-0009 shall be and hereby is
repealed.
Section 2. The title of this ordinance which summarizes the contents shall be
published in the official newspaper of the City. The ordinance shall take effect and be in full
force five (5) days after the date of publication.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Arlington and APPROVED by the Mayor
this day of2013.
