Item#1 Council Rules of Procedure-Update to Section 7.4 Manner of Addressing ATTACHMENT A The Council-Time Limit and Section 7.3 Subjects on the Current Agenda Please leave your written comment below: It appears that you will no longer be allowing public comments at your workshop meetings. If that's true,I'm confused as to why you would not want to hear from the public the week before you'll have to vote on the issue at your next council meeting. Why would you want to wait to hear the public's perspective just minutes before the vote on a policy is taken? I also see that if more than 10 people sign up to speak at a meeting, they will each only be allowed 2 minutes each to speak.Limiting your comments to three minutes is difficult enough, but just having two minutes is way too restrictive.Do you want to hear the public's view on these issues or not?
