Water Comments-Gus Tararan(gtararan@arlingtonwa.gov):
1. Show existing and proposed 20'easement,centered on watermain,including fire hydrants. (4.1-
22) Parcel is City land and an easement is not required.
2. Revise and dimension the separation between the proposed fire main and FDC main line shall be
a minimum separation of 3-feet from inside edge of pipes. Adjusted for 3 ft separation.
3. Provide adequate separation between the proposed thrust blocking at the 90-degree bend and the
parallel line. The lines are now separated.
4. Replace Sta/Offset with Northings/Eastings. There are no associated bearings on alignment
shown on plans. Updated. Add d water line and crossing depth.
5. Note/show the depth of the proposed water lines(4-1.12). Additionally,veri vertical separation
between proposed water lines at existing storm crossing. Minimum is 0.5'from storm. (4-1.06)
6. Minimum horizontal separation between water and storm is 5-feet. Revise plans and dimensions
separation. (4-1.05) Adjusted to the west to also avoid the power lines.
7. Underground power shall maintain a minimum 5-foot horizontal clearance and a minimum 1-foot
vertical clearance. Revise plans as necessary. Adjusted to the west.

9. Note fire main hot tap at point of connection shall be the epoxy coated tapping sleeves. Added
