Hannah,
According to Gus, the current 5/8" meter and service line are going to be abandoned when the old
office is removed. Snohomish County did not want to use the current service line and opted to tap a
new service for a 2" water meter south of the current one and place a new meter box for a 2" meter
along with a meter box for a future irrigation meter(when they determine what size they will need).
The utility application that they applied for as water only will actually be for water&sewer
connection fees for a 2" service. Once they determine what size the future irrigation meter will be,
we will then apply the 5/8" water only credit to that new irrigation meter.
