RE:Arlington MOB LLC—Overhead to Underground Conversion along frontage of Tveit Rd (212th St NE)
To Whom It May Concern:
Snohomish County PUD has determined it is unreasonable to convert the overhead primary conductors to
underground along the frontage of the Arlington MOB LLC site.We've come to this conclusion based on the bullet
points listed below.
• The high-pressure gas line is further north than what was shown on the plans. It will be in direct conflict
with where we need to place a new pole to support the conversion.
• Due to the retaining wall that is required,we can't get the working clearances required for our switch
cabinets.These circuits serve the hospital and approximately half of downtown Arlington so it's critical
that we can operate these switches safely.
• The vaults can't be safely installed without interfering with the overhead conductors due to the slope of
the hill onsite.
We are requesting the overhead-to-underground conversion requirement to be waived for this project.
