Neighborhood Meeting
March 4, 2026 at 5:00 pm
The neighborhood meeting was opened at 4:55 pm to start at 5:00 pm
Meeting Attendance:

• Ameresia Lawlis, City of Arlington
• Rob Risinger, Project Applicant
• Rachel Miller, Project Applicant Team
• Merle Ash, Project Applicant Team
• Tyler Foster, Project Applicant Team
• John Markenzinis, Project Property Owner
• Judi Leger, Neighboring Property Owner in Overall Subarea but not Project Area.
The city prepared a short PowerPoint presentation and went through the overview of the
subject project.
Judi had the following questions
• What will happen next?
City staff provided an overview of the Preliminary Plat/Hearing Examiner, Civil
Permit, Final Plat and Building Permit processes. The project is hoping to schedule
the Hearing Examiner in the next month.
• Timing for breaking ground on the project?
The project applicant stated they would like to start moving dirt on the project site
the summer of 2026 pending the timing of the Civil Permit issuance. The applicant is
looking to start building construction of the residential homes by the
Spring/Summer of 2027.
• When will the people living in the project area vacate their homes?
Ideally this summer (2026) before breaking ground on the site.
• City staff asked that if there were any future questions or inquiries to not hesitate
and to reach out directly at anytime throughout the project.
The meeting was closed at 5:18 pm after all participants had the opportunity to speak and
ask questions.
