First,we thank all of the Council for considering and really listening the concerns of so many of us that will be affected by Large Load
installations. Sustainability and use of shared life giving resources w/o public oversight and impact discussions is a recipe for environmental,
economical and political disaster. These types are going up at accelerated speeds w/o any study or proof of anything environmentally healthy
coming from these builds. 4th year of drought, low snow melt, higher temperatures resulting from Climate change, warnings already for Western
WA fire season, high fuel costs-this is not the time to be taking resources from people with excess water use, dirty energy from carbon loaded
fossil fuels(where is solar on this project))?,fowling a very expensive and extensive salmon rehabilitation project, adding continuous traffic(more
6PDDQ toxic runoff) and covering a working wetland. Though not a Data Center-it is still a Large Load Facility(9.5MW)covering 1.2million
square feet and still uses 1,320,000 gallons/mo of water. I think in lieu of the mega size these Large Load Facilities present, our community
needs a separate zoning process and much more public scrutiny, with public information(questions&answers) held throughout the cities limits.
Ask yourself would you want to live next door to this and could you sell you home?More transparency, not less.
