While a very significant effort has been made to insure the technical accuracy of this program, it is assumed that the user is knowledgeable in the art of system sound estimation and is aware of the tolerances involved in real world acoustical estimation. This program makes certain assumptions as to the dominant sound sources and sound paths which may not always be appropriate to the real system being estimated. Because of this, no assurances can be offered that this software will always generate an accurate sound prediction from user supplied input data. If in doubt about the estimation of expected sound levels in a space, an Acoustical Engineer or a person with sound prediction expertise should be consulted. Structural Review Professional Structural Engineering Services ' Summary — HVAC Replacement Connell Design Group Attn:Vicki Somppi 22002 641h Ave West, Suite 2C Mountlake Terrace,WA 98043 REC ED February 1,2013 DEI Project: 12-363 MAR 0 4 2013 COA Enclinevin! Dept. Re: Outback Power T.T.-Mechanical Equipment Replacement 17825 591h Ave NE T Arlington,WA 98223 Dear Ms. Somppi: Dibble Engineers completed a site visit to review the existing pre-engineered metal building manufactured by Butler for the purpose of a series of tenant improvements. The purpose of this letter review is for the replacement of an existing HVAC unit for a new unit. The existing building utilized structural steel frames at approximately quarter points of the building. The roof framing is nearly flat(Low slope)using a metal purlin system to span between the frames. The internal office mezzanine level uses prefabricated press plated open web trusses to span the between steel beam lines. The new units include: RTU-1 —Existing RTU to remain. RTU-2—Existing RTU to remain RTU-3—Existing RTU to remain RTU-4—Proposed replacement unit in current location with new unit. The new unit is a Model 48HC-D08 and weights 925#. In review of the vertical support of the unit,DEI understands the new unit to be of similar weight to the existing, however DEI would recommend that the installation confirms that the unit curb bears onto a minimum of two roof purlins spanning the distance between the steel frames. The new metal curb should be attached with a minimum of(4) #10 tek screws into each of the two purlins(8)fasteners total. Laterally the seismic anchorage force is 358#and is addressed through securely attaching the unit to the mechanical curb and the curb to the roof purlins. Dibble Engineers appreciates your business. Please contact us with any questions or clarifications. Sincerely, X— -.0 f WUP07Z&2b 7. O °t"WAS tt,N d DIBBLE ENGINEERS,INC. Robb A.Dibble,P.E. As discussed, OutBack Power plans to deploy PV arrays on the roofs of Building 6 and Building 9 (17825 59`h Avenue NE, Arlington). For City of Arlington permitting purposes for these arrays, I understand you are able to add this work to the existing"HVAC Upgrade" permit already open- Thank you. I also understand an inspection will be required upon final installation. Attached please find the following information on these planned PV arrays: 1) "Outback Roof Review(2)": this is the Structural Engineer's report with recommended 'load maps' for PV array deployment on each roof 2) For Building 9: A) "Outback Roof#6 Rev1 i) This attachment is mislabeled, it actually applies to Building 9 ii) Shows the layout of the PV array(s) on this roof B) "Solyndra Data Sheet Revision 4 English LR": i) This is the data sheet for the PV module used in this PV array(s); model No. SL-001-165 ii) Design is for 48 ea. of these modules; total 7.92kW PV array iii) This composite PV module and racking does not physically attach to the roof; rather, it is simply set on the roof C) Installation is scheduled for late next week 3) For Building 6: A) "Outback Roof#9a (4)": i) This attachment is mislabeled, it actually applies to Building 6 ii) Shows the layout of the PV array(s)on this roof B) "1400012US FixE and FixT overview": i) This is a data sheet for the roof racking attachments ii) Schletter is completing a site-specific racking design for this PV array, and I will forward that when it is complete; it will include a fastener schedule for this racking to the roof structure C) "170W Alpha Module 10 A01", and "Sharp 165": i) These are the data sheets for the two types of PV modules used in this PV array(s) ii) Design is for 24 ea. 170W Alpha PV modules, and 24 ea. 165W Sharp PV modules; total 8.04 kW PV array D) Installation is tentatively scheduled for the later part of April If you have questions with this and/or need further information please let me know.
