ITAEREAS, the equipment identified on Exhibit "A" is no longer used by the City and
is surplus to the needs of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Revised Code of Washington Chapter 39.33,010 authorizes the City to
dispose of surplus property to a foreign entity; and

nOW, THEREFORE, the City of Arlington, acting by and through its City Council,
does hereby resolve as follows:
1. The equipment/property described on the attached Exhibit "A" is declared
surplus to the needs of the City.
2. Staff is instructed to transfer the items to Volunteer Fire Company #8, Antigua,
Guatemala, pursuant to RCW 3 9.3 3. 010.
