The transition from the portable to the deck needs to be changed to accommodate a transition not exceeding% inch and the exterior stairs from the deck needs a solid landing. I conducted the inspection on 9/29/10 and left an inspection card with the corrections. I re-visited the site yesterday to see if the corrections have been made and they have not. The other two have temporary tags that should have been replaced when the site location was known. The temporary tags were issued when Blazer Industries or their dealer did not know where the buildings would end up...they were suppose to apply for permanent insignias when they knew which obviously did not happen. The temporary tags do verify the? units complied with the building codes in effect at the time of construction however and we would not require the insignias to be replaced now. As we discussed, alterations & repairs for sited gold label buildings will be permitted through the local AHJ (county or city) and if electrical work is performed the permitting would be through a participating city electrical inspection service or through L&I electrical. I hope this helps clarify where the proposed work would be permitted through. are further questions.
