If the stones have been installed, remove the top stones and the stone on the right side. For maximum accessibility, also remove the stone retaining/heat shiel"n the left side.-To do this, loosen the nut on the top of the firebox with the 7/16"wrench and slide the stone retainer/heat shield out of the stove. PROCEDURE: 1. Place the blower housing behind the stove and push the rheostat and snap switch boxes toward the front of the unit. 2. The slot on the edge of the blower housing will slide over this bracket. 10 4. Once the blower is under the stove rotate it a quarter turn as shown in photo 3. Position the blower so that the two holes in the mounting bracket line up under the two corresponding holes in the bottom casting of the stove (the holes in the bottom casting re clearly seen in photo 3 above). Holding the blower in this position, insert the two longer 8-32 pan head screws down through the bottom casting and thread them into the bracket in the blower. Pull the snap switch box over where it will be near to the snap disc on the back of the stove,routing the wire so it will not touch the fire box. Install the wires as shown in photo 6. To properly attach the terminals, the top connector will be facing left and bottom facing right. Photo#6 The proper placement of the terminals: top facing �- left and bottom facing A right. Improper attachment may damage terminals or the snap switch. 7. Install the snap switch box over the snap switch(photo 7). Position the box as shown in Photo 8,rotate the slots so that they are behind the screw heads and secure by tightening the screws with the Phillips screwdriver. Turn the 8-32 x 3/8 screw loosely into the hole in the rheostat box as shown in photo 9. Push the rheostat box under the stove and to the front. Position it so that the bent retention tab is side to side with the square'cut out and the screw is in the keyhole in the igniter bracket. Slide the rheostat box back until it locks into place against the igniter bracket. Tighten the screw. Photo#10 Install the side plenum plate by sliding the keyholes in the plate over the screws installed on the side of the firebox shown here. c. ' 10. Install the air plenum plate by loosening but not removing the 2 screws along the right rear edge of the firebox under the restrictor adjustment plate. Holding the plenum with the bent corner in top right position facing the right side of the stove,place the plenum plate keyholes over the screws. Slide the plate down over screws then tighten(see photo 10). 11. Replace the side stone retention plate/heat shield and stones. BLOWER OPERATION: The blower is activated when the snap switch(installed in step 6)heats up. It will take several minutes for the heat of the stove to activate the snap switch. The rheostat (installed in step 9)controls the blower fan speed. Turn the knob clockwise to turn the blower on. When the knob clicks,the fan will be in the on position. The fan is on the highest setting when it is first turned on. By continuing to turn the knob clockwise, the fan movement will be reduced until it reaches its lowest setting. If the fan does not operate at the lowest setting, the rheostat will require adjustment. Contact your dealer for rheostat adjustment. To turn the blower off,turn the knob fully counterclockwise until it clicks into the off setting. OHearthStone Quality Home Heating Product Inc.
