PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City has entered into a contract with Marshbank Construction. for
construction of the 67th Avenue Final Phase Project; and
WHEREAS, the City may expect change orders from Marshbank Construction for
unforeseen conditions and City work changes; and
WHEREAS, both the City and Marshbank Construction acknowledge that prompt
processing and expediting of Change Orders will facilitate the construction project and minimize
additional costs by eliminating schedule delays associated with Change Orders; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Arlington, acting by and through its City Council, does
hereby resolve as follows:
1. The City Administrator is authorized to approve Change Orders directly
related to the above -referenced project for an amount not to exceed
$75,000.00 per change order.
This authorization commences upon approval of this resolution and expires on
rPecember 31, 2014.
