The City Council finds as follows: R. The City of Arlington has sought bids from three qualified contractors to complete the work detailed in the Project; 111,11111,11 1! jii!�11111�111111111 1111111�11111111 11 li�iiiiiiiiii IIIIII�11 pill 11111 The City Council further finds that, while public entities are obligated to and should normally accept a low bid, in some cases accepting a low bid from a contractor who has unsatisfactorily completed a previous painted traffic lane striping project could lead to additional unsatisfactory work and possible dangerous traffic conditions for the public. d. That the City does have an Inter -Local Agreement with Snohomish County for various public works and maintenance projects, including the application of Painted Traffic Lane Striping. 2. Based on the foregoing findings, the City Council hereby rejects all bids submitted for the Painted Striping portion of the Project and directs the City of Arlington Public Works Department to contract directly with Snohomish County per the existing Inter -Local Agreement for the Painted Striping portion of the Proj ect.
