A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ARLINGTON DECLARING
CERTAIN PROPERTY AS SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING ITS
SALE.
WHEREAS,the City has purchased the equipment listed on the attached Exhibit"A"; and
WHEREAS,the equipment identified on Exhibit"A" is surplus to the needs of the City; and
WHEREAS,because the equipment was purchased with utility funds, a public hearing was
held before the Arlington City Council on August 1, 2011 to review this request and allow public
comment,
NOW, THEREFORE,the City of Arlington, acting by and through its City Council, does
hereby resolve as follows:
1. The equipment/property described on the attached Exhibit"A" is declared surplus to the
needs to the City.
2. Staff is instructed to sell all items for the best available price at sealed bid auction or
properly dispose of items that it is unable to sell.
Passed by the City Council of the City of Arlington at a regular meeting on the 15t" day of
August, 2011
