However, I do need to clarify a couple statements. There are some items that need to be addressed by Wal-mart prior to building permit pick-up. I have listed some of the items below for reference, given to your office back in 2007. Sometimes things can change from building plan conditional approval to construction, therefore I asked our new Building Code Official Christopher Young to clarify status at this point for the project. Please see the attached memo from him for reference. I did not indicate that these plans would be good until construction begins or through completion. Changes may be necessary and fees for the entire permit have not been fully assessed. Listed are some of the items that were pending at building plan approval: Verify that Special Testing forms have been signed by appropriate parties and placed in the main building permit file. (Special testing agency had not been selected by Wal-mart) Verify that the Contractors information has been added to the building permits. (bid packet had not been sent out by Wal-mart) Verify that Payment of all traffic mitigation fees applicable have been paid, payment documentation would be needed. (some fees have been paid—some have not, WSDOT& Snohomish County.) Verify that Planning issues are all up to date and they have been satisfied per the Land Use decision prior to building permit issue. 3/17/2008 �..f 1�� r V �_�� Page 2 of 2 Verify that any and all easements have been recorded if needed, and or approved by city staff and council. Verify that Site Civil process has signed approved plans by City Engineer and no additional revisions are necessary prior to Building permit issue. According to Brenda we do not need an extension as the building permit/plan approval will not expire on 03-19-08 and is good until construction commences and through completion. We will be submitting the plan revision under the 2003 IBC which is the code our original plans were submitted and conditionally approved under. Basically the plan approval will remain valid as long as there is periodic activity on this project.
