The following information is required for Residential: Single Family, Duplex,Townhomes,Additions,and
Accessory Structure Building Permit Applications.

the submittal documents.
EACH BUILDING OR STRUCTURE REQUIRES A SEPARATE SUBMITTAL.
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.

1. Plan Review fee is due at time of submittal and remaining balance will be due at time of issuance.
2. The City of Arlington does not review or inspect electrical systems.Contact Labor and Industries at
Ini.wa.gov or 360-416-3000.

A Special Inspection Firm is required to perform special inspections for the following type of work.

From the applicant:
The area between my shed and in front of the garage apartment entrance is paved.
Roughly 6 years ago or so,I had the PUD upgrade the service to my property to 200 amps,they
also did a new drop and moved the meter to the back corner of my garage.A sub panel with a
60amp service was installed on the interior wall of the apartment behind the meter.
12/31/2024 1 had gas brought to my property roughly 18 months ago from Cascade.A trench from the meter Kristin Foster
was dug to my house with a gas line into my basement.The meter installed on the south side of
the garage feeds my primary residence for a tankless hot water heater and also feeds the
apartment for a tankless heater and a clothes dryer.
A 4"waste line was also trenched from the apartment and ran into my basement and ties into the
existing 4"waste line of my single family home.A 1"water supply was also ran and ties in as
well.
