8:00 P. M. in the Council Chambers of the Town hall. Notice .,
of such hearing will be published in the Arlington Times on
September 7th and all property owners within a 300 foot
radius of your property have been notified in writing of data
of said hearing. After such hearing (required by law), the
Commission may then grant or deny your permit.
We noticed on your application where it asks "Term Desired"
you put in - "1 year to complete". We think you have this
permit confused with a building permit. "Term Desired" on
this permit wants to know how long you wish to use this
property as a Du-Plex. Term may be revocable, conditional,
or valid for a term period. We think you probably want a
term period of so many years and you can let us know and we
will change your application.

Arlington because said property is zoned Single Family
but I waited to so advise yku until I could use or sure

the
Planning Commission. They agreed that p ed
in the Single Family Residential Zone.
The Planning Commission pointed out that if you wished, you could
apply for a Conditional Use Permit but even so -- the property will
not meet the minimum lot requirement of 111,400 sq. ft. for a tri—
plex. In addition, under the Building Code, a tri—plex in Fire
Zone 3 (which is the fire zone this property is located in) would
have to have exterior walls of one hour fire resistant materials.
The property Would accomodate a du—plex and in order to be allowed
to do that you Would need to apply for a Conditional Use Permit
Vh*reby yawl fill out the enclosed application, file it with me along
with plans to show detail of proposed use and a fee of $25.00, The
Planning Commission would then have to hold a public hearing before
they could grant or refuse the permit.

This message came from outside the City of Arlington
Ms. Lawlis,
I located the email printed sent April 5, 2021, out by my attorney, Bruce Galloway last evening. One
of the requirements is updated utilties and "life safety requirements". I feel that the installation of this
furnace meets one of the requirements requested to meet the zoning. This natural gas furnace needs
to be replaced, there is a part needed that can no longer be obtained. This upstairs is hot in the
summer and the new heat pump will also allow for cooling. Many players were in place for the
installation on Monday, handyman to remove old furnace and plug the walls; electrician installing new
wiring and electrical panel, residents on alert, owner entering to receive instruction on new unit. The
scheduling of this been in the works since April of 2022.
A permit for this installation, with other items pending would be essential.
