This will simplify the process in changing any of the paperwork or job site. I have included a couple pictures of the attachments inside the roof curbs of the replaced units. I would hope this will be sufficient in lieu of pulling the RTU's off their curbs to view the same thing. Finally,the gas line from the meter to the RTU's was not modified by Willamette HVAC. When our guys arrive there were four units for the library space that were not connected. Our guy's added a few feet from the ball valve to the new RTU's to be able to make the connection. This would be around 5'of gas line for each unit. If I need to add gas to our permit for that 10'we can do that. Someone else will need to pull a separate permit for the modification of the gas line from the meter to the connection points. Please let me know if I can be of further assistance in sorting this permit out. He found the following issues of concern: The units are listed fi-om West to East in order, starting with#1 on the far west side to#4 on the east side of the existing unit space. 44 will not be part of their space when the remodel is done. Rooftop I & 3 are in failure. Both have lost their evaporator fan motors(the indoor blower motors). -Rooftop 1 has a note inside that says the evaporator fan failed in 2010 -Rooftop 3,has a note inside of it,that says the heat exchanger is cracked,marked 2014. Without the evaporator motors,it is difficult for him to confirm this,but there is evidence that it is rusted out. Our HVAC will not know if the compressor section of rooftops 1 or 3 are good unless he can get a good evaporator motor installed.As of right now,the library space is operating on Rooftop 2 and 4 (#4 will be pant of closed off space soon). Please keep us informed on how you would like to proceed with these issues so we can make modifications or adjustments to accommodate the HVAC. We were disappointed to learn that only one of the HVAC units had been shipped to your HVAC contractor, after we were informed per your email dated 8/21/17 from Smokey Point NW LLC, stating that the HVAC vendor would be installing the HVAC units the following week. Now the two units are scheduled to be installed early the next week of September 012017 per Smokey Point NW LLC. Both HVAC units should be up and running before Friday the 81h ,as the landlord's final inspection with the library is scheduled for Friday, September 8th. We will need Smokey Point NW LLC's required mechanical permit posted onsite with the other permits. The permit needs to be signed off by the City of Arlington inspector by September 8rh 2017 as well. The roof will also need to be patched. We cannot have our ceiling tile subcontractor install the expensive tiles until the roof leaks are found and fixed.
