Arlington Fire units were dispatched at 1138 hours Saturday morning to a reported house in
the 18100 block of S. Cedarbough Loop. The first fire engine arrived at 1143 hours to a 2-story
home with heavy fire from the upper floor of the house.
Fire crews entered the structure and quickly contained the fire to the area of origin. There was
however heavy smoke and heat damage to the upper level of the house and the first floor suffered
minor water damage.
There was one reported minor injury, the cause of the fire is under investigation by the Snohomish
County Fire Marshal. The home was occupied at the time of the fire.
The family has received assistance from friends and family until repairs can be made.
Assisting on the fire were units from Marysville, Arlington Rural #21, Silvana #19.
