The vent connector is in place, slopes upward and is physically sound without holes or excessive corrosion. 3. Turn OFF electrical supply to the furnace (see Fig.6). 6. After waiting 5 minutes, if you still smell gas, STOP! Follow the safety information on the cover of this manual. Remove the outer door by loosening the thumbscrew and pulling the door forward (see Fig.7). 8. Turn ON the electrical supply to the furnace (see Fig.11). 5. Turn the control switch on the gas control to the OFF position and wait 5 minutes (see Fig.8).
