Scope of work.
Using hot dipped galvanized nails, frame 36"x89" (with studs 16" OC) wall using
2x8 pressure treated lumber (rip 2x8 to 6" NET to be same width as concrete
footing, all cut ends surfaces be coated with preservative). Provide (6) 2x8 blocks
on each side between studs (total of 12 blocks) as shown on drawing for securing
siding panels. Secure bottom plate to existing W6"x L96"xH25" concrete footing
using (4) 5/8 x5" hot dipped galvanized wedge anchors.
Using % CDX pressure treated plywood, cover wall on both sides using 6d (2-inch)
galvanized nails, spacing nails 6 inches apart along the panels' edges and 12
inches apart mid-panel.
At the bottom the %2 CDX will overlap existing concrete footing by 4" on both
sides. Using % x2" hammer-set anchors, secure plywood to the concrete footing
every 12 inches on both sides.
Secure siding panels to the wall using stainless steel 3/8 lag bolts with SS washers
to the blockings between studs.
