The specification sheets should include at a minimum the heating, cooling and blower performance, as well as electrical data, dimensions, weight, and clearances. Per the energy code, each unit must be equipped with an economizer. Documentation will need to be supplied that each unit in fact is equipped with an economizer. If the units are like-for-like change outs the specifications for the existing units will need to be supplied. If they are not like-for-like change outs structural enhancements to the building may need to occur. If that is the case, plans and calculations will need to be provided. The ducting has been removed and will need to be included as a part of the permit as it will need to be inspected. Ducting details will need to be submitted for review. These items will need to be submitted for review prior to issuance of the mechanical permit. No work should commence until a permit has been issued. Let me know should you have any questions.
