A RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE
ARLINGTON TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT DISTRICT OF THE
CITY OF ARLINGTON, WASHINGTON, DESIGNATING A
PUBLIC RECORDS OFFICER
WHEREAS, the City of Arlington (the "City") approved Ordinance No. 2013-005
on April 1, 2013, creating the Arlington Transportation Benefit District ("TBD") of the City of
Arlington, Washington (the "District") pursuant to Chapter 36.73 RCW; and
WHEREAS, RCW 42.56.580 requires that local agencies appoint and publicly identify a
designated public records officer, whose responsibility is to serve as a point of contact for
members of the public in requesting disclosure of public records and to oversee the agency's
compliance with the public records disclosure requirements of this chapter; and
WHEREAS, the Arlington Transportation Benefit District Board wishes to comply with
the requirements of state law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BOARD OF
THE ARLINGTON TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF
ARLINGTON, WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following person is hereby appointed as the Arlington Transportation Benefit
District's public records officer under RCW 42.56.580, and shall carry out those responsibilities
consistent with the requirements of state law, effective starting July 1, 2013:
Kristin Banfield, Clerk of the Board
238 N. Olympic Avenue
Arlington, WA 98223
2. The Clerk of the Board shall make the contact information for the public records
officer available to members of the public as required by law.
PASSED by the Board of the Arlington Transportation Benefit District, Arlington,
Washington, at a regular open public meeting thereof held on this ljctk—_ day of
2013.
