A RESOLUTION OF THE GOVERNING BOARD OF THE
ARLINGTON TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT DISTRICT OF THE
CITY OF ARLINGTON, WASHINGTON, DESIGNATING AN
AGENT FOR RECEIPT OF CLAIMS
WHEREAS, the City of Arlington (the "City") approved Ordinance No. 2013-005
on April 1, 2013, creating the Arlington Transportation Benefit District ("TBD") of the City of
Arlington, Washington (the "District") pursuant to Chapter 36.73 RCW; and
WHEREAS, RCW 4.96.020 requires that local agencies appoint and publicly identify a
designated claims agent, whose responsibility is to serve as the person authorized to receive
claims against the City during regular business hours on behalf of the City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Arlington wishes to comply with the requirements of state law;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE GOVERNING BOARD OF
THE ARLINGTON TRANSPORTATION BENEFIT DISTRICT OF THE CITY OF
ARLINGTON, WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS:
1. The following person is hereby appointed as the Arlington Transportation Benefit
District's designated claims agent under RCW 4.96.020, and shall carry out those responsibilities
consistent with the requirements of state law, effective starting July 1, 2013:

2. The Clerk of the Board shall record a copy of this resolution with the Snohomish
County Auditor as required by law.
PASSED by the Board of the Arlington Transportation Benefit District, Arlington,
Washington, at a regular open public meeting thereof held on this �� day of
