Examples are installations or alterations of gas piping, replacement of any HVAC equipment, Heat Pumps, Exhaust Systems, Paint Booths, Above-ground and Under-ground tanks with piping, etc. The City of Arlington does not require a permit to replace an existing gas clothes dryer, stovetop ranges, ovens, or gas log if there is no gas piping installed or altered.
