Site is located within High Density Residential Zone. As such, the standards within AMC
20.68.110, Part II Apply.
Sign Height in this zone is limited to 6 feet. Sign height is measured from the ground to the
highest point of the sign structure. The proposed Sign height is 9 feet.
The total Sign Area appears to meet to the 0.3sf per linear foot of street frontage requirement,
however, we would need to know that lenght in order to verify.

Proposed Sign also needs to meet applicable setbacks for that zone which is 5 feet from any
property line as well as be outside any sight triangle. Distances need to be shown on site map.
Also, the plans do not reflect wheter or not the signs will be illuminated. If they are,
illumination needs to be directed only towards the sign, that is, it may not project towared
residential proeprtys, public rights of way or into the night sky. Lighting details should be
shown in the application.
03/22/2013 Revised plans submitted on March 20th are in compliance with code requirements.
