Good Afternoon,
I wanted to follow up on our conversation regarding the zoning verification review. Please see the
following review comments and let me know if you have any questions. I know we discussed items 1
—4, however we didn't discuss 5 and 6,which were provided by our building department. It was
mentioned that there will be no electrical in the building,therefore I wanted to be sure you knew that
per code some lighting,and emergency exiting will be required.
The proposed location as shown on the site plan has been approved.
1.T1-11 would not be an allowed material. Please see the following Development Design
Standards:
12.1.3.4 Metal siding shall always have visible corner moldings and trim and should
have a matt finish and a neutral or earth tone.
12.1.3.5 Non-durable siding materials like T1-11 type plywood,corrugated metal or
fiberglass is prohibited, as it decays quickly when exposed to the elements and looks
unsightly. Panel siding with board and batten is
allowed.
2. Provide color elevations for all sides of the proposed structure.
3. Design shall match the design of Pioneer Hall. Please see following Development
Design Standard:
9.1.3.11 Where a new structure shares a site with an existing structure or is a major
addition to an existing structure,designing the new structure to be compatible with the
original structure will help it fit in.
4. Design Review Board will review this project. Please submit a Design Review
Application and required documents for review.
5.An exterior light with battery backup will be required at the entry door.
6. Emergency exit sign with emergency lighting and battery backup will be required in the
interior of the building and the entrance/exit door.
