Hello,
The residential zoning verification for a shop addition at 5213 170th Pl Ne has been
approved with the following conditions:
• Any grading/fill on this site shall be done to not impact the surrounding properties.
• Stormwater shall be managed in accordance with City of Arlington Stormwater
Management Standards current at the time the construction/building permit
application package is submitted to the City for review.
• Design of shop addition shall be similar to existing character of home and shop and
will be reviewed at building permit.
• Driveway shall be impervious surface (concrete and/or asphalt) and utilize LID
drainage when feasible per AMC 20.48.044 and will be verified at building permit.
• Building Permit shall be conditioned that no business operations shall be allowed, as
this would intensify the non-conforming situation.
The next step will be submitting a residential building permit application for the work. The
applications can be found and submitted on our website. If you have any trouble submitting
online, you can email us the completed application and any required documents to
CED@arlingtonwa.gov.
