Structural fill was placed in approximate 4" lifts and compacted with an Ingersoll-Rand-70Dsingle drum vibrating roller. All tests failed to meet compaction requirements. The subgrade was observed pumping underfoot and the roller. GeoTest noted that moisture content was well above optimum.
