Comments: GeoTest was on site as requested to perform compaction testing at Building C.
Some initial tests didn’t meet compaction requirements of 95% or greater per ASTM
D1557/D4718. Contractor re-compacted areas with a jumping jack while GeoTest was on site.
Additionally, PBS was on site and contractor re-compacted some areas (mostly around
plumbing pipes). Final tests indicated 95% or greater per ASTM D1557/D4718. Exxel Pacific
and TayEx were notified of our results prior to departing the site.

This letter summarizes our special inspection and testing efforts for The Villas at Arlington - BLD C
project located in Arlington, Washington. GeoTest’s services took place from October 9, 2018
through October 22, 2019. Our testing and inspections included the following scope of work:
