Permit and set of approved plans to remain on site during
installation. Installers shall present NICET Il certification
upon request.
2. Battery load test required, switch system to battery
operation 24-hours prior to final inspection. Notification
appliances to operate for 5 minutes on battery power.
3, Trouble condition to be verified for initiation,
notification and signaling circuits.
4. Manual pull station shall be dual action.
5. Smoke detectors required in hallway outside of elevator
#3 on floors 2 and 3 (not reflected on drawing or battery
calcs).
6. Smoke detector required above RPS #3 per NFPA 72

7. Furnish a written statement to the Arlington Fire
Department stating that the system has been installed in
accordance with the approved plans and tested in
accordance with the manufacturer's published instructions
and appropriate NFPA requirements prior to scheduling an
inspection (NFPA 72 Section 7.5.2).
8. Record of completion form shall be submitted prior to
project close-out.
Items noted above are conditions on the issued permit and
shall be verified as part of the final inspection of the
system at project completion. Final approval will not be
provided until all conditions are verified. Call at least 48
hours in advance to schedule an inspection.
