feet to the True Point of Beginning; thence continuing N 4°-

Our Code Enforcement Officer reports that you have occupied the
building located at 18931 59th Ave NE, Arlington without an
approved Final Inspection .
Tt should be noted that. Section 305(d) of the Uniform Building
Code Requires that there be a .final inspection and approval on
all buildings and structures when ready for occupancy or use.
A subsequent recheck of our records that a final inspection of
Mir records indicates that a final inspection has not been
requested . We are, therefore, requesting that you contact this
c,ffice within, ten ( 10) days of your receipt of this letter to
establish a time frame for resolution of these requirements .

Dear David:
The submitted drawings have been examined for compliance with the 1988 Edition
of the Uniform Building Code. The following items should be corrected before
the permit is issued:
1. You should ensure that involved city agencies such as Public Works and
Fire Department, etc., approved the project, including Planning and Zoning.
2. The 'r<i%vi.ngs should show exactly the tenant floor plan, with the desired
rooms shown. All dimensions and details of construction should be shown.
3. The proposed space should be separated from the other tenant spaces by
1-hour, or 2-hour, depending upon the paint booth construction.
4. Unless the painting area is in an at-)proved, sprinkled booth with required
exits, the painting area should be separated from the other area by a 2-hour
separation.
5. Unless the welding areas are separated from the balance of the space, the
entire area should be sprinkled because it exceeds 3000 S.F. with mezzanine.

6. The area of the mezzanine is included in the area of the space into which
it opens. Sec. 505 (c)
7. The live load of the storage should be 125 pounds per square foot. Table
23 A. The joist should be designed to support 125# plus the dead load.
8. In one place the drawings show the spacings of the supports for the mezza-
nine to be 810" on center and 101-0" on center in another place. The drawings
should be corrected.
9. The steel beam should be designed for the proper loads and spacings, and
should be a rolled section and not job built.

10,. The Mezzanine should have an approved stair and should have a guard
rail with intermediate members not over 12" clear. Sections 3306 and 1711.
