A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF ARLINGTON AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF REAL
PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO SIGN CLOSING DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously determined that certain real property is
surplus to its needs and should be sold; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has approved a purchase and sale agreement with Chris
Smith and Holli Smith for the sale of the property; and
WHEREAS,the City Council wishes to authorize the Mayor to sign closing
documents pertaining to the sale;
NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ARLINGTON,AS FOLLOWS:
1. The City Council authorizes the sale of the real property located at 717 E. 1st
Street and including Snohomish County Tax Parcel numbers 00455400601100,
00455400601400, 00455400601700, and 00455400601900.
2. Mayor Barbara Tolbert is hereby authorized to sign all closing documents
associated with the sale, subject to approval by the City Attorney.
3. This resolution shall be effective upon its passage and approval.
APPROVED by the Mayor and City Council of the City of Arlington this 11th day of
February, 2019.
