A RESOLUTION REGARDING THE
PROPOSED VACATION OF A PORTION
OF RIGHT OF WAY AND UTILITY EASEMENT IN THE PLAT OF LA VERNE HEIGHTS
WHEREAS,the City Council has received a request concerning the vacation of certain right of way and
utility easement located in the Plat of La Verne Heights located in the City of Arlington; and
WHEREAS,the City Council wishes to pass a resolution to schedule a public hearing on the vacation of
the right of way,and the relinquishment of a utility easement, and the City Council wishes to schedule a public
hearing and refer the matter to the planning commission for consideration;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ARLINGTON,
WASHINGTON, AS FOLLOWS:
1. City staff is hereby directed to refer the above street vacation to the planning commission for its review.
2. A public hearing shall be scheduled before the City Council, as required by RCW Chapter 35.79 and
Arlington Municipal Code sections 3.70.030 and 12,18,050 at the regular meeting of the City Council on the 6 day
of April, 2015.
